高透射率玻璃光纖使用PVC包覆，其外部再包覆3 /8” 和 1 /2”的金屬套管，光導(dǎo)的末端經(jīng)過(guò)打磨與拋光處理，用不銹鋼作為終端部件，透光率大概為70%，每英尺光損耗約為6%。導(dǎo)光板適配器需要配合光纖照明器一起使用。

本產(chǎn)品價(jià)格實(shí)惠，可用在需可見(jiàn)光和紫外波段照明。不像玻璃光纖光導(dǎo)，液體光導(dǎo)沒(méi)有聚光損耗----在光纖與光纖之間存在間隙導(dǎo)致耦合效率降低（見(jiàn)圖表）。這種液體光導(dǎo)會(huì)阻斷近紅外光譜，*適合可見(jiàn)光傳輸和部分波段傳輸高品質(zhì)彩色圖象。由于長(zhǎng)波的透射率低，因此圖象輕微偏藍(lán)，輸出色溫偏高。多次處理過(guò)的液體光導(dǎo)不會(huì)導(dǎo)致效率降低。液體光導(dǎo)采用石英作為窗口保護(hù)玻璃，可密封住無(wú)毒無(wú)害的傳輸介質(zhì)。本液體光導(dǎo)需借助于光纖適配器#38-944來(lái)連接照明器和濾光片。

石英光纖光導(dǎo)
工業(yè)級(jí)UV石英光纖光導(dǎo)是用在紫外波段的，在245nm黑暗環(huán)境伽瑪射線或X射線環(huán)境下會(huì)有熒光現(xiàn)象，這種塑料-金屬石英光纖介質(zhì)可提供zui大的透射效率由于有著10：1的包覆率，而且柔韌性極好，涂覆層由一層PVC包裹，zui外層為不銹鋼。本品不含適配器。
